Outside of work I have many hobbies to stay busy and I am always looking to learn new skills. If I am in my garage, you can usually find me modifying or rebuilding one of my vehicles. I can rebuild a motor, tear down and re-assemble an entire vehicle, and I am proficient in vehicle wiring.
My most recent big project was a full tear down and rebuild of a 1978 GMC K25 pickup. It was a stripped to the frame and completely re-assembled with all new parts; new motor converted to Holley EFI, all new wiring, upgraded brakes and suspension, and a brand new, re-upholstered interior. The seat was reupholstered at Custom Covers and Canvas. This was probably one of my biggest accomplishments, especially since it started on the first try. You're only limited to what you think you can't do.
When I am not in the garage, I am either remodeling my house or am on my computer. I spend a lot of time learning the ins-and-outs of electronics, coding, and anything else cool and fun you can do with technology. I currently am learning Python, but hope to expand to other languages, too. I am knowledgeable in using Windows and many Linux distros.
